5 Free Flash Video Sites Working With Skyfire on LG Optimus V

Intro to Skyfire

Skyfire Mobile Browser is the product of a truly pioneering development team. Their aims are to lower streaming data bills for the poor contracted non Virgin Mobile customers all over the world by compressing streaming video.

As a result of their video engineering efforts, they have been able to bring flash video to most Android devices whether the devices themselves can actually install and handle the Adobe Flash plugin. Virgin Mobile customers do not have to worry about their data charges because we currently enjoy unlimited data usage on our mobile phones, which may make you question why I am writing an entire post on the merits of Skyfire’s video service.

New Cartoon Network Video App with Full Episodes Streaming on 3G

The Cartoon Network debuted an Android app today that allows Android 2.1 + to stream clips and full episodes of your favorite Cartoon Network shows such as Batman, Adventure Time,  Bakugan, Destroy Build Destroy, Scooby-Doo, Young Justice, and MAD. There are many more!

I tested this app’s ability to stream over 3G, and I had a flawless experience. The picture quality was fair for a 3G connection as well.

Go ahead, tell the kids! Try it out – Its fresh off the presses, and it works!

Netflix for Android Live – But Not Yet for LG Optimus V

Well folks, Netflix is finally officially part of the Android Marketplace. Unfortunately, the app only supports a few high performance phones. This means, no Netflix for us LG Optimus V users.

I have hopes that this may change in the future, but my hopes are not that high. It probably will not happen.
