Back to School!

Its time to go back to school folks! All of Virgin Mobile’s major retailers – Radioshack, BestBuy, Walmart, Amazon, and Virgin Mobile Online have amazing deals on many of the top Virgin Mobile No Contract phones right now in honor of “Back to School”.

Now is a good time to buy.

I do not expect to see deals like these until late November (Black Friday) or around Christmas.

UPDATE:

Looks like the original price may have been a price mistake, as today – the price has changed from $28 bucks on the LG Optimus V to $78 (still a killer price) and from $178 to $228 on the Motorola Triumph ( also still a good deal).

I recieved the following email with regards to my order:

Dear Customer,

Thank you for your recent Optimus V order. We are sorry to inform you that the listed price of $28 for the phone was a regrettable typographical error. Per the terms and conditions on our site we cannot complete your transaction at this price.  The actual price for the LG Optimus V for Virgin Mobile is $78.00.

They said it was coming last October, but Virgin Mobile put off capping their unthrottled data speeds until sometime in 2012.

We are now at that time.

After the 23rd of March, 2012, you get 2.5 GB of unthrottled speed a month.

For most of you, this will not affect you at all. So, DO NOT panic!
