Looks like the original price may have been a price mistake, as today – the price has changed from $28 bucks on the LG Optimus V to $78 (still a killer price) and from $178 to $228 on the Motorola Triumph ( also still a good deal).

I recieved the following email with regards to my order:

Thank you for your recent Optimus V order. We are sorry to inform you that the listed price of $28 for the phone was a regrettable typographical error. Per the terms and conditions on our site we cannot complete your transaction at this price. The actual price for the LG Optimus V for Virgin Mobile is $78.00.

Yes Virginia, Deals Do Still Exist!

Christmas shopping frenzy is over. This is a huge relief!

However, you may still be looking to get hooked up with a new phone from Virgin Mobile. If you are, I have the deals roundup for you right here.

I’m posting these now because there have been some important price drops on the Motorola Triumph in particular that appear to be perminant. Now may be a good time to buy!

Virgin Mobile USA Online Price Drop

Dropping from the hefty price of $299.99, Virgin Mobile USA has dropped the price on the Motorola Triumph by $20.

Radioshack is also selling the Motorola Triumph for lower price as well (this is an in store only deal though). Target and Best Buy, however, have not dropped the price.
